Get fit with our unique circus classes. Adapted to all level you can try different circus disciplines such as: flying trapeze, silk, lyra, rope, chinese pole, straps, static trapeze, flexibility and hand to hand. It will help you build body strength and endurance. The instructors will help you advance your circus level using a range of exercises on the circus apparatus. No circus background necessary to come and try. The class can be modified for all fitness levels. We also offer advance and private class.

Aerial Straps

Aerial Straps are a type of apparatus used for building core strengths for the performance of various feats of strength and flexibility. Students will learn to manipulate the straps and gain the spatial and aerial awareness needed to manoeuvre their body through the use of straps

Corde lisse

This class will teach participants a combination of held postures and drops using a rope that hangs from the ceiling. The class is designed to explore a multitude of concepts such as hanging, balancing, falling and transitions, through which the participants will gain skill and strength.

Fusion aérienne

In this class we will build skills across a variety of aerial disciplines, comparing and contrasting how the tricks feel on each and developing sequences and vocabulary across the aerial apparatus. We will explore a variety of circus apparatus including but not limited to the trapeze, lyra, straps and silks. It is an excellent introduction to various circus disciplines.

Lyra

The lyra is a discipline that is gaining popularity as a fitness alternative as it utilizes flexibility and muscle-strengthening to execute simple to complex acrobatics movements inside a metal hoops suspended from the ceiling. The hoop may be fixed or swinging, used elevated on high or close to the ground. When a hoop is worked at floor level, the acrobat can use the feet to propel it and may choreograph moves, vary the speed, etc.

Lyra and Silks

Learn two disciplines – the Lyra and Silks – in a single class.

Silks

Tissu, also known as “silks” are made up of a long fabric folded in half to form two panels hanging from the ceiling from a hooking device. Using this fabric, participants can wrap, suspend, climb, swing and spiral their bodies in and out of various positions. Different levels are offered where the participant will gain their upper body and core needed to evolve through more and more complex choreographic sequences.

Dance trapeze

Like the static trapeze, a dance trapeze is a bar hung from two ropes, but unlike it, a dance trapeze is hung close to the floor, from a single point, which makes it spin. The participant will learn acrobatic and choreographic movements and sequences.

Duo trapèze

Discipline using a Trapeze hung at various heights upon which two acrobats execute moves and acrobatics without using the trapeze's swinging movement. The Static Trapeze employed by two acrobats strongly resembles the Aerial Cradle, as the carrier attaches himself to the trapeze by the bend of the knees, enabling the flyer to perform various aerial acrobatics.

Mini-trapézistes

From 6 to 13 years old, the children can learn how to fly on a flying trapeze in a safe and fun environment. With his unique facilities, the Circus Castle offer the kids the opportunity to play in the air in a safely manner. The qualified instructors and wearing the safety harness, will allow the kids to fly in that air and enjoy learning the basics of flying trapeze.

Trapèze volant

Discipline using a non-swinging trapeze bar. Students learn challenging sequences of tricks using the bar and ropes, gracefully suspending themselves in a variety of positions. This apparatus helps build core strength, agility and spatial awareness.

Acro

Floor exercises are based on different levels of acrobatic sequences. The static and dynamic acrobatics come from the gymnastics and parkour world. This course will help you improve your physical strength and your ability to move by using acrobatic movements.

Children Circus

Our circus program for children that offers kids a fun way to focus their minds as well as strengthen their bodies, in a safe environment. Our well-trained circus professionals teach our young acrobats a variety of age-appropriate skills based on their interest and abilities. Our courses focus on a variety of disciplines, including lyra, trapeze, silk, as well as ground acrobatics, in order to build strength, balance, flexibility, coordination skills.

Contorsion

Augment your strength, stretch your muscles, and improve range of movement through a flexibility training like none other. Contortion is the training and development of flexibility through repetitive training, which can lead some individuals to develop hyper physical flexibility.

Hand to Hand

Hand to Hand is an acrobatic discipline that combines techniques from other circus disciplines such acroyoga and handstands. Using strength and trust, two partners work together to create physical art by learning to work together to stabilize different positions through the carrier carrying the flyer.

Handstand

Handstand is an essential acrobatics skill. You’ll learn to gain the coordination, body positioning and strength necessary to achieve confidence on your hands and work towards a free-standing handstand on the ground and eventually on canes.

Parkour

Parkour is a training discipline that uses movement to get practitioners from one point to another in a complex environment, without assistive equipment and in the fastest and most efficient way possible. This class will teach you how to move over, across and under various obstacles. You will learn about landing, rolling, climbing, building strength, speed and balance in a safe environment.

Chinese Pole

Chinese Pole is a circus discipline were participants learn to train their strength, endurance and flexibility to eventually display amazing feat of athleticism on a rubber-coated metal pole 3-4 inches wide in diameter.
